About pricing

What does Early Access mean?

Obæya is live and usable today, and still being actively built. Early Access users get the Pro tier at no cost while we keep developing the app.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Sign up with an email address and you can create a room straight away. There is nothing to cancel.

What happens when Early Access ends?

We will let you know in advance before paid Pro launches. When it does, Early Access Pro accounts move to the Free plan: nothing happens to your data — every room and everything in it stays yours — and you are never charged. If you want to keep Pro, you choose it and go through checkout yourself.

Is there a discount for students?

Yes. Pro will be discounted for students, so a study group can run its rooms without a business budget.
